On May 10th a fine gathering of peers and younger acolytes paid tribute to the late Syd Barrett with a concert at the Barbican Hall in London called The Madcap's Last Laugh. Curated by Joe Boyd and Nick Laird-Clowes the line-up included Kevin Ayers, John Paul Jones, Robyn Hitchcock, Vashti Bunyan, Captain Sensible, The Bees, Damon Albarn, Chrissie Hynde, and all the members of Pink Floyd.

Kevin performed Here I Go and Oh Wot a Dream making good use of his new Hofner guitar.
