On May 4th 2006 Kevin Ayers played a very relaxed (ie unrehearsed) acoustic concert at the Cobden Club in London to an enraptured audience headlining a private benefit concert in support of Rokpa, a registered charity which provides aid for Tibetan culture.

Kevin was joined on stage by acoustic soloist Max la Villa

On May 10th 2007 a fine gathering of peers and younger acolytes paid tribute to the late Syd Barrett with a concert at the Barbican Hall in London called The Madcap's Last Laugh. Curated by Joe Boyd and Nick Laird-Clowes the line-up included Kevin Ayers, John Paul Jones, Robyn Hitchcock, Vashti Bunyan, Captain Sensible, The Bees, Damon Albarn, Chrissie Hynde, and all the members of Pink Floyd.

Kevin performed Here I Go and Oh Wot a Dream making good use of a new Hofner guitar.
